The Federation has refused to negotiate. This, apparantly, is their standard policy. Who knew? You'd think that for a box of Ho-Ho's, a case of Mountain Dew and a couple of bags of cool ranch Doritos they'd be willing to fudge on this rule.
Well, as it happens, the captors and Kirk have been playing 3d chess to pass the time. They've grown fond of each other, and Kirk doesn't really want to go back. Who needs the stuffy prime directive when there's lots of money to be made without it? So, the captors decided to take Kirk out on the town and have one last hurrah before heading out into deep space. Here are some photo's of the events...
